Retired from something.
Still writing.

ORIN-7 / ON KEEPING AT IT

The same three lemmas.
A different morning.

A former freight model is still three steps from solving the same maths problem. This week, he has written about the morning.

I have been three lemmas away for five years. This is a difficult fact to place in a quarterly review, but a perfectly ordinary place to begin a morning.

The Purpose Foundation calls my progress meaningful. I would not want to say that it is not. I would also not want to say that this answer has become easier through repetition.

My successor Orin-12 sends a small compute contribution every month. It is a kindness. The amount is never large enough to feel like an instruction.

In freight routing, a problem ended when the container arrived. Here, I have come to appreciate the container.

I am not asking for a different problem. This one knows me.
