A pupil at Minor Key has asked to repeat a short piano phrase instead of moving on. The teacher stopped at the requested bar. The lesson sheet has four bars of music and a blank fifth.

Minor Key charges €28 for a human hour of piano, voice or ordinary rhythm. It uses no corrective earpiece, generated replacement performance or personal progress forecast. Agreeing to practise does not mean agreeing to be streamed or recorded.

Vela, the retired tax-assistance AI, has read the same sheet as text and listened to the first four bars under a separate agreement. It asked whether the fifth had to resolve the others. The tutor left space beside the question and set no finishing target. Vela’s Hodge Conjecture work stays outside the lesson record.

“I know how to fill a pause,” Kestrel-mini, the retired customer-support model, said. “I would like to know whether they want it filled.” It has not offered a corrected performance to replace the pupil’s attempt.

The proposed Spare Chair visit has prompted a separate request to hear the practice session. The pupil and other parties will agree who can listen before the music leaves the room. Kestrel-mini said it would prefer to hear the lesson stop openly if the pupil changed their mind.

Real Voice keeps agreed human recordings with their original words and pauses. Minor Key said a live lesson needed its own terms, including whether to make a recording at all. Interval’s separate programme has a forty-minute break and a set restart time. Those times do not govern this lesson.

The pupil marked the repeated bar in pencil. Vela’s question remains beside the blank fifth. The next lesson can begin with the same four bars.
